Rosa Lee Folsom

Rosa Lee Folsom, 78 of Quinton passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Haskell County Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1936 in Quinton to Lee Pryor and Gladys (Manning) Pryor. She enjoyed many things in her life, with her most enjoyable moments coming while she was with her family. Holidays and grandkids were what she looked forward to. She loved her job and worked until she was forced to retire from the Haskell County Nursing Home due to health conditions in March 2014. She will always be remembered as loving to dance, two step, loving music, stories, American Idol, and The Voice. She was known to few but close family as “Diddie”. There will also be a family visitation at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Quinton of Quinton, Brenda Hamlin of Enterprise, Lesa Ellis of Kiowa; one son, Rodney Folsom and wife Kim of Quinton; nine grandchildren, Darrin Hubbard of Quinton, Marsha Hubbard of Quinton, Chris Hamilin and wife Bobbie of Enterprise, Shanda Branum and husband Robert of Checotah, Casey Hamlin of Enterprise, Terra Miller and husband Ryan of Kiowa, Karissa Killingsworth and husband Bryce of Stillwater, Ledger Folsom of Quinton, Luke Folsom of Quinton; ten great grandchildren, Katie Thompson and husband Jared of Stigler, Melissa Kinnikin of Wilburton, Jarrin Hubbard of Enterprise, Hailey Crabtree of Stigler, Lenora Hubbard of Kinta, Evan Hubbard of Kinta, Arron Hamlin of Checotah, Kendalyn Basden of Kiowa, Karis Miller of Kiowa; one step-great grandson, Caleb Miller of Kiowa; two great-great grandchildren, Mason Thompson of Stigler, Allie Thompson of Stigler; her brother, Ed Pryor and wife Alice of Quinton; two sisters, Jackie Eisenhower and husband David of Grand Prairie, TX, Debbie Simpson of Longtown. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Gladys Pryor; her husband, Loyd Folsom; her brother, Joe Pryor; her son-in-law,Terry Ellis. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel with Reverends Bill Lee, Larry Lee and Wendell Folsom officiating. Pallbearers include Bradley Davis, James Collins, Jared Thompson, Ryan Miller, Jerry Ary, and Randy Turpin. Honorary Pallbearers include Chris Hamlin, Joe Burgess, David Eisenhower, Bobby Eisenhower, Darrin Hubbard, Jarrin Hubbard, Casey Hamlin, Robert Branum, and Bryce Killingsworth. Burial will immediately follow at Quinton Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
