Micah Francis Dunham

Micah Francis Dunham of Whitefield was born on Tuesday, November 25, 1997 in McAlester, OK to Patrick and Holly Dunham and passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. Micah loved hunting and fishing, something he learned from his dad. During hunting season, you could find him sitting beside his dad in the deer stand eagerly waiting for that buck to come into view. In the summertime, he loved to ride four wheelers and go fishing. Micah began his school years at Whitefield where he excelled in academics, even going to state 2 years in a row competing in Oklahoma All-State Academic. He graduated as 8th grade salutatorian in 2012. In the fall of 2012, Micah became a Stigler Panther where he played football, starting as a offensive lineman all 4 years. He excelled in sports and academics and was the Senior class President, graduating in 2016. After graduation, Micah began college at OSUIT, graduating with honors in 2019 as a Natural Gas Mechanic. He loved to work on things and took pride in making sure it was put back together correctly. Micah was a father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He loved immensely and was loyal to all who knew him. He took pride in all his relationships, especially the one he loved the most, being a father to his 10-month-old son, Kasen, who was the love of his life. Micah is survived by his parents, Patrick & Holly Dunham of Whitefield; his son, Kasen Dunham of the home; a brother, Mason Dunham of Whitefield; a sister, Bailee Dunham of Whitefield; grandparents, Rita Dunham & M.T. Coplen of Kinta; a niece, Payton Nora Dunham of Whitefield; best friend, Jake Fobber; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Micah is preceded in death by a sister, Haley Dunham; grandparents, Gail Dunham, David & Nora Wilson. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Whitefield Baptist Church with Reverend Eric Stout officiating. Eulogist: Mr. David Morgan. Pallbearers include Wyatt Thompson, Jake Fobber, Mason Dunham, Rowdy Pugh, Tyler Wiley, Allen Knoy, Braxton Osbourne, Sefton Shrum, Colt Davis. Honorary Pallbearers include M.T. Coplen, Trace Maxwell, Cade Sawyer, Bailee Dunham, Wesley Wilson, Chisholm Belicek, Kirsten Wilson, Matt Minor, Chris Minor, Mike Minor & Lee Minor, Andy Strong. Burial will follow in Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
