Martha Trixie Peevy

Martha Trixie McMorris Peevy of Quinton Oklahoma was born March 16, 1928 in Denison, Texas to Joe and Martha Louisa Wilson and passed away February 9, 2021 in Quinton, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Trixie was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children, spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, reading her bible, bird watching and playing dominoes; she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Quinton OK. She will always be remembered as loving her family. Trixie is survived by 7 sons & 6 daughters-in-law, Joe & Jimmy Mae Peevy of Temple Texas, Ronnie Peevy of Belton Texas, Ricky & Diane Peevy of Belton Texas, Billy & Paula Peevy, Yancey & Terry Peevy of Quinton, Clomer Gene & Dawn Peevy of Haywood Ok, Troy & Valerie Peevy of Las Vegas. 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Mary & Leon Stephens, Mavis Risenhoover of Quinton ,Ok. Melvena & Chris Spears of Russellville, Ok. 34 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; great great grand- children. Trixie was preceded in death by her: husband Benny Leo Peevy; parents Martha Rogers & Joe McMorris; a son-in-law, Jackie Risenhoover; grandchildren, Nathaniel Peevy, Derrick Peevy , Ronnie Jr Peevy, Chrissy Peevy & twin boy and girl Peevy; a great grandson, Mackenzie Blake Spears; a great granddaughter, Mary Stephens; 3 brothers; Alan &T.J. McMorris & Charles Raymond Rogers; 5 sisters; Opal Gragg, Marie McMorris, Evy McMorris, Ivy McMorris & Mildred Hood. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Quinton Oklahoma with Bro Donnie Taylor officiating. Funeral will be live streamed on Facebook under Jesus Name Pentecostal Church Quinton ok. Funeral will be for immediate family only due to Covid 19 restrictions. Face Mask Are Required Pall bears include Lee Skinner, Kenton Spears, Jacob Spears, William Peevy, Damon Mascoto, Timmy Stephens. Honorary Pall bears Leon Stephens, Chris Spears, Paula Peevy, Terry Peevy, Valerie Peevy, Dawn Peevy, Diane Peevy and Jimmy Mae Peevy. Burial will immediately follow at Featherston Cemetery under direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
