Walter K. Crabtree Jr., 83, of Stigler, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born July 6, 1938 in Casa Grande, Arizona to Walter Kewen Sr, & Ellie (Lane) Crabtree. Walter married the love of his life Darlene Mancillas on July 16, 1963 in Altruas, California. They made their home in Stigler where they raised their family. Walter loved fishing, spending time with family. He moved to Oklahoma in 1978. He was a lifelong truck driver. He had a degree in watchmaking. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Darlene Crabtree of the home; two daughters & a son-in-law, Terri & Brett Guthrie of Stigler, Dannette Crabtree of Henryetta; a son & daughter-in-law, Walter III & Isela Crabtree of Stigler; 7 grandchildren, Gaven, Garrison & Cody, Chris & Brandi, Jordan, Allie & Allen, Hailey, Seth; 5 great grandchildren, Sophie, Oakley, Lilly, Jax, Trey & Ava on the way; a sister, Doris Hendrick; 2 brothers, Bill Crabtree of Salida, California & Kenneth Crabtree of Albuqueque. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Ellie Crabtree; a sister, Mary Collums; a grandson, Stephen Driskell. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jason Smith officiating. Pallbearers include Walter Crabtree, Brett Guthrie, Gaven Guthrie, Seth Crabtree, Cody Gray, Chris Barton, Stephen Hall. Burial will follow in Stigler Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home in Stigler
