Patsy Stubblefield Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Patsy Stubblefield, 78, of Sallisaw died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at her home. She was born on April 25, 1935 in Stigler to William Stubblefield and Minnie (Shaver) Stubblefield. She grew up at Stigler where she received her education. She then moved to Muskogee and began working for H.B. Egan Manufacturing, where she worked for many years. She also was employed by many area nursing homes as an aid until her retirement. She will always be remembered as loving to play the piano, cook, and reading her bible. She is survived by two sisters, Pauline Green of Perry, JoAnn Hall and husband James of Stigler; two brothers, Sam Stubblefield and wife Pat of Stigler, Jim Stubblefield and wife Barbara of Muldrow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Minnie Stubblefield; one brother, Bill Stubblefield; two sisters, her twin, Pat Ball and Jewell Collins; two brother-in-laws, Eugene Green and Willard Collins; four nephews, Tony Stubblefield, Derrick Stubblefield, David Green and Dave Simmons; two great nephew, Josh Carry and Waylon Vaupel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel with Mr. Paul Green officiating. Pallbearers include Harry Green, Roy Hall, Richard Collins, Gary Stubblefield, Larry Collins, and Victor Hall. Honorary Pallbearers include Dennis Hall, Ronnie Hall, Stephen Hall, Jimmy Collins, John Green. Burial will immediately follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
