Margaret Ann Tucker, 70 of Kinta passed away at her home September 19, 2014. She was born May 5, 1944 in Canadian, Oklahoma to Edgar Shaffer and Alta (Ford) Shaffer. She moved with her family to Lequire in 1960, and was educated at Lequire School. She married James Tucker in McAlester, Oklahoma on January 24, 1969 and made their home together in Kinta. Her hobbies include loving to watch her grandkids play ball, watching sports, playing cards, fishing, and going camping. Margaret will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her entire family and cherished her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, James Tucker of the home; her son, Damon Tucker and wife Valerie of Sallisaw; two grandsons, Cade Tucker of Sallisaw, Cord Tucker of Sallisaw; three sisters, Carol Donnely of Wilburton, Ruby Cloud of Kinta, Sheila Nelson of Broken Arrow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Alta Shaffer; one sister, Nellie Bowen. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Kinta First Baptist Church with Reverends C.B. Coplen III officiating. Eulogist: Kenneth Corn. Pallbearers include Jeff Sloan, Derek Bowen, Keith Bowen, Brian Haven, Cody Bowen, and Dan Franklin. Honorary Pallbearers include Colton Bowen and Brandy Cloud. Burial will follow at Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
