Mr. Lee Allen Bolt, 81, of Whitefield passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 in Tulsa. He was born in Pontiac, MI July 26, 1930 to Samuel and Susie (Green) Bolt. He grew up on Beaver Mt. where he received his education. Mr. Bolt and Miss Helen Weathers were united in marriage June 20, 1953 in Stigler. Al, as he was affectionately called, was a member of the Green Country Blue Grass Association and the Masonic Lodge in Tulsa. He served 2 years as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and worked for McConnell Douglas for 6 years. He owned and operated his own business – Al’s Auto – in Tulsa for 45 years. Al loved to hunt, fish and play Bluegrass Music. The Bolts returned to Whitefield in 2004 and made their home there. He is survived by his wife Helen of the home; one grandson, Kyle Smith of Tulsa; four great-grandchildren, Meadow Smith of Tampa, FL, Kadence Smith of Tampa, FL, Kyler Simmons of Coweta and Alex Hahn of Catoosa; one brother, Bill Bolt and wife Marie of Oklahoma City as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheryl Diane Bolt; his parents, Samuel and Susie Bolt; a brother, Jim Ed Bolt; three sisters, Louise Nixon, Sally Whitfield and Sadie Lewallen. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. March 7, 2012 at the Whitefield Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Bob Kirk officiating. Pallbearers will be Glen Ballard, Kris Powell, Rocky Ballard, Blake Powell, Travis Ballard and Johnny Bray. Honorary pallbearers will include Floyd Zinn, Charles Willyard, Charles Smith and Charles Don Robertson. Military Honors will be presented by the V.F.W Post # 4446 of Burial will follow at the Mountain Home Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
