Mr. Larry Joe Bryce, 55, longtime Red Oak resident died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his home. A native of Stigler he was born March 8, 1957 to Jimmie Bryce and Mary Lavern (Leird) Bryce. He grew up at Red Oak and graduated with the Stigler Class of 1975. He made his home at Red Oak and began a career in the Oilfield Business. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was kind hearted and loved his family. He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Bryce of Salem, MO, Cole Bryce and wife Kaylee of Red Oak, Wesley Bryce of McCurtain; two daughters, Rachel Cook and husband Chad of Salem, MO, Kassey Bryce of McCurtain; 7 grandchildren, Jaden Bryce, Hunter Cook, Elliana Bryce, Saydee Bryce, Dakota Blaylock, Jade Blaylock, and Brianna Blaylock; two brothers, Ronnie Bryce of Red Oak, Greg Bryce and wife, Melisa of Red Oak; one sister, Marlyn Coy and husband Mike of Red Oak. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lavern Xander and Jim Bryce. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 27, 2012 at the North Rock Creek Cemetery with Reverend Johnny Montgomery officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Joe Bryce, Billy Tom Bryce, Terry Noah, Mark Hawkins, William Galloway, and Jack Hiatt. Honorary pallbearers include Gary Lyons, Allen Lyons, Sam Mitchell, Roddy Summers, Delbert Kindle, Deroy Pope, and Doug Satterfield. Burial will follow under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
