Julia Byrd Campbell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Julia Byrd Campbell, 85, of Tulsa formerly of Porum, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at a Tulsa Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1928 in Bristow to Otis L. Woods and Golda (Keith) Woods. She was raised in Oklahoma and received her education at Porum High School. After graduation she married Charlie Byrd on May 2, 1946 and they lived happily until his passing on March 19, 2004. She then remarried to her precious childhood friend Boyd Campbell on May 23, 2005 at Tulsa. She will always be remembered as loving garage sales, auctions, and going to church. She is survived by her son, Nathan Byrd and wife Barbara of Kalispell, Montana; one daughter, Linda Barnett and husband Bud of Edmond; four grandchildren, Shawn Barnett of Edmond, Sophia and Steve Crandell of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Zachary Byrd of Kalispell, Montana; Stacie and Tim Erfle of Bellingham, Washington; six great grandchildren, Bodie Barnett, Piper Barnett, Ellie Barnett, Ashley Crandell, Nicholas Crandell, Noelle Erfle; four sisters, Eileen Hetrick, Golda Grissom, Joyce Flinchum, Pearl Kash. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Golda Kash; her husband, Charlie Byrd; one son, James Bryd; her 2nd husband, Boyd Campbell; two brothers, Albert Woods and Ray Kash. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Coleman Cemetery with Tom Grissom delivering the Eulogy and Reverend Tim Allen officiating. Pallbearers include Nathan Byrd, Bud Barnett, Zachary Byrd, Shawn Barnett, Steven Crandall, and Al Woods. Burial will immediately follow under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
