Jimmy Ray Seyler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jimmy Ray Seyler, 63, of Stigler, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his home. He was born March 7, 1958 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Carl & Ann (Kiefer) Seyler. Jimmy married the love of his life, Miss Peggy Jones and they “took the leap” and married on February 29, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially hunting & fishing. He enjoyed just watching TV and staying home. He enjoyed coaching baseball, softball, & football. He loved the Oklahoma Sooners. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Peggy Seyler of the home; a son & daughter-in-law, Jacob & Bethany Seyler of Stigler; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Cortney & Aaron Crisler of Kinta, Hannah & Tyler Labor of Stigler; 6 grandchildren, Aaron Jr., Lillian, Jesse, Wyatt, Gus, Hagen; 2 brothers & a sister-in-law, Sammy & Glenda Seyler of Keota, Billy Seyler of Keota; 2 sisters & a brother-in-law, Mary cox of Keota, Diane & Gary Wallen of Keota; 1 aunt, Ruth Hayes of Keota; a uncle & aunt, Dale & Nancy Kiefer of Natural Dam, Arkansas; a host of nieces & nephews. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Ann Seyler. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 17, 2022, 10:30 A.M. at Victory Worship Center of Keota with Reverend Heath Cole officiating. Eulogist: Brandon Mooneyham. Pallbearers include Steven Seyler, Nathan Seyler, Kendall Cox, Lynn McACafferty, Kenny Adams, Scotty Carry. Honorary Pallbearers, Dennis Winklepleck, Tony Scavo, Tyler Labor. Burial will follow in Old Cache Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
