Mr. Jackie Dale Carry, 64, of Stigler died Monday, August 20, 2012 at his home. He was a life time resident of Haskell County. Jackie was born March 1, 1948 in Kanima, OK to Lois and Pearl (Robinson) Carry. He grew up in Keota and Stigler receiving his education at Keota. He worked as a laborer doing farm work and building Pole Barns. He loved playing Wahoo but most of all he adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Angela Pearson of Shady Point, Amy Monks and husband Josh of Brooken; four sons, Kenny Carry and wife Shelia of Cordell, Daniel Carry of Stigler, Shane Carry of Tahlequah and Brandon Carry of Muskogee; one sister, Tammy Edwards; four brothers, Calvin, Dannie, Bobby and Ricky Carry; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Unity Baptist Church in Keota with Reverend Gary Maxwell officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Monks, Kenny Carry, Shane Carry, Brandon Carry, Dannie Carry and Calvin Carry. Honorary pallbearers will include Daniel Carry, Ricky Carry, Roger Edwards and Bobby Carry and Tammy Edwards. Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
