Frank Lindsey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Reverend Frank Lindsey, 80, of Porum, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Muskogee. He was born May 9, 1939 in Danville, Arkansas to William Marshall & Lota Bess (Long) Lindsey. Frank grew up at Porum and he met a young lady that stole his heart, Miss Barbara Bush. They were married on December 1, 1959 in Stigler and made their home in Porum and raised their family there. He worked in the family business of Well Drilling for many years. He became a Diesel Mechanic and worked many years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and going to church. He loved his family and cherished those grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of Heavenly Hope Church in Porum and was so proud of his pastor; his son. Frank is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Barbara Lindsey of the home; his son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Jeanette Lindsey of Porum; his two daughters & sons-in-law, Ann Olds & Dennis Thibault of Bokoshe, Paula & David Miller of Porum; grandchildren, Dason & Kelsey Lindsey, Lacy & Gerardo Gonzalez, Jeffrey & Charla Olds, Michael & Lindsey Olds, Daniel, Alex, Kayanna, & Kayla Miller; great grandchildren Grant, Kaylee,& Emery Lindsey, Kegan & Camilla Gonzalez, Whitney, Jentri, Dakota, Kambri, Natalee, Drayton & Kendalyn Olds; Emelia & Ben Spradley, Caden, Cason & Cash; his brother, John Lindsey of Keota. Graveside Services will be 2:00 Friday, April 3, 2020 in Hoyt Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Lindsey officiating. Pallbearers include Daniel Miller, Alex Miller, Dason Lindsey, Gerardo Gonzalez, Jeffrey Olds, Michael Olds. Burial will follow immediately under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. There'll be a Celebration of Life at a future date and we'll post when but for now this will be a private time with family. Thank you so much for honoring the family's wishes.
