Mr. Coleman Ray Bandy, 74 of Quinton passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 3, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Coleman J.D. Bandy and Jimmie Tom (Orman) Bandy. He grew up in Dallas and Colorado. He married Linda Pitchford and made their home together in Denton, Texas where he started his own business in construction and landscaping. They retired and moved to Quinton in the late 1990’s. He will always be remembered as loving to work in the yard, woodworking, watching westerns, listening to old country music, and most of all playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren He is survived by his son, Billy Bandy and wife Sandy of Denton, Texas; his two daughters, Choice Needham and husband Shane of Quinton, Jan Bandy of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Morgan and husband Daniel, Coleman and partner Angie, Clayton, Cameron, Kemper, Chesney; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman and Jimmie Bandy; his wife Linda Bandy; one sister, Brenda Arredondo. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel. Reverend Jack Sloan will be officiating. Pallbearers include Billy Vaughn, Shane Needham, Colton Yandell, Darrell Brown, Kevin Kilcrease, and Daniel Spearman. Honorary Pallbearers include Coleman Doty, Kemper Vaughn, and Mike Ziemba. Burial will immediately follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
