Buddy Wade Dugan

Buddy Wade Dugan, 47, of Kinta died on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Stigler. He was born at Muskogee on December 23, 1976 to Loyd and Sandra (Rea) Dugan. He grew up at Quinton where he attended school. He married his middle school sweetheart Suni Gabbart who he dated since they were 13. They were married On September 30, 1995 and made their home together at Quinton. They settled in Kinta in 2016. He was a truck driver and mechanic most all of his life, He worked for Pittsburg County District 1 until his death. Buddy Wade loved riding side x sides, rock crawlers, and making his daily loop in the side x side with Bullwhip never far behind. He loved spending time with his family whether it be in the mountains or summers at the lake. Most of all he loved his family and adored his grandkids. He is survived by his soulmate, Suni Dugan of the home; four sons, Kolton Dugan and Haley Hall of Kinta, Bobby Rhodes and wife Mazie of Quinton, Kameron Dugan and wife Taylor of Kinta, Aiden Dugan of the home; four daughters, Kacie Hays and husband Caleb of Quinton, Nina Shelton and husband Christian of Kinta, Natalie Dugan of the home, Karsyn Dugan of the home; 14 grandkids, Maverick, McCoy, Emersyn, Stetson, Scout, Sutton, Sienna, Brantley, Lance, Kamberlynn, Reid, Rosalie, Marci, and Dixie; his parents, Loyd and Sandra Dugan of Blocker; three brothers, Lonnie Dugan and wife, Susan of McAlester, Jeff Dugan and wife Shelly of McAlester, Jason Dugan and wife Dana of Talihina; his father and mother in law, Eddie and Tammy Gabbart; brother and sisters in law, Jason and Amy Few of Stigler, Lucas Gabbart and wife Crystal of Brooken, Chasity and Larry Satterfield of Quinton, Stacy and Greg Rathbone of Tulsa; his second dad, Bullwhip Branham of Kinta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Sybil Rea, Loyd and Ina Dugan; a granddaughter, Rainey Jo Hays. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Palestine Church with Pastor Cardell Johnson officiating. The Eulogist will be his son, Kameron Dugan.Pallbearers will be Kolton Dugan, Kameron Dugan, Bobby Rhodes, Lucas Gabbart, Jason Dugan, Ceth Oxford, and Aiden Dugan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Few, Christian Shelton, Caleb Hays, Mervin Wallis, Bullwhip Branham, Jeff Dugan and Lonnie Dugan. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
