Arnold Ray Ballard, 87, of Quinton, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at his home. He was born December 2, 1933 in Lona Valley, Oklahoma to Lloyd & Thelma (Weathers) Ballard. Arnold was a carpenter by trade and worked his entire life in construction. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Thelma Ballard; his wife, Rose Virginia Ballard; his sister & brother-in-law, Alice Mae & Hugo Thomas; a son, Buck Ballard. Arnold leaves behind three sons, Richard Ballard & Katherine O’Sullivan of Quinton, Paul & Velma Ballard of Quinton and Lee Ballard of Ft. Gibson; 2 brothers & 2 sisters-in-law, Lloyd & Janet Ballard of Arkansas, Gerald & Tamara Ballard of Quinton; 12 grandkids, Julie, Katrina, Daniel, Justin, Jennifer, Deborah, Scottie, Ethan, Leann, Bradley, Paul Jr. & Marissa; numerous great grandkids, nieces & nephews. Graveside Service will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Lona Valley Cemetery with Reverend Rick Kerley officiating. Pallbearers include Jimmy Tucker, Mike Spradlin, Paul Ballard Jr., Scottie Ballard, Ethan Ballard, Justin Ballard. Burial will follow immediately under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
