Jasper Adcock

Jasper Adcock, 88, of Quinton, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee. He was born September 19, 1931 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Ted and Minnie (Wiles) Adcock. He grew up at Quinton where he was educated. He married Euleta Childers on April 12, 1952. They made their home in California, Muskogee, Oklahoma City and settled in Quinton. He began a career as a carpenter and worked on many projects including all the area Dam Projects. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening & loved providing produce for his family, friends & neighbors. He enjoyed raising cattle & horses. He loved his family & adored his grandchildren & great grandchildren. Jasper is survived by his son, & daughter-in-law, Bill & Mary Adcock of Stigler; his 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Pamela & Larry Dalton of Durant, Angela & Marvin Harrod of Oklahoma City, Teresa (Terry) & Dana Greco of Oklahoma City; 8 grand- children & spouses, Courtney & Kevin Henson, Cory & Nichole Adcock, Derek & Sedonia Dalton, Melissa & Kendall Bernard, Kyle Harrod, Jordan Harrod, Chris & T.J. Greco, Jeremy & Danyelle Greco; 14 great grandchildren, Jake & Candice, Peyton, Luke, Amberly, Devin, Landon, Dillon, Kyia, Kane & Caitlin, Dominick & Kennedy, Anthony, Giovanni, Montana, Isaiah; 4 great-great grandchildren, Roman, Kalahan, Octavia & Xander; 4 brothers, Freddie Adcock, Larry Adcock, Amos Adcock, Leamon Adcock; 5 sisters, Allie Honeycutt, Armatha Calhoun, Charlene Calhoun, Danna Stoll, Sandra Dailey. Jasper is preceded in death by his parents, Ted & Minnie Adcock; his beloved wife of 64 years, Euleta Adcock; 5 brothers, Rudolf, Densil, Corky, Levi & Bobby. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church at Quinton with Pastor Donnie Taylor officiating. Eulogist: Lloyd Carr & Larry Dalton. Pallbearers include Cory Adcock, Derek Dalton, Chris Greco, Jeremy Greco, Kyle Harrod, Jordan Harrod. Honorary Pallbearers include J.W. Pilgrim & John Denny. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. Jesus Name Church is located at 350 Broadway in Quinton.
