Dusty Mack Oldham

Dusty Mack Oldham stepped into the arms of Jesus on December 19th, 2024 at the age of 65. He was born in Madera California on December 3rd, 1959 to Mack and Myrtle Oldham, while they were making their way to Chowchilla. His father Mack passed away when Dusty was 4 years old. Two years later his mom married Mark Purdom who raised him as his own and passed down his love for fishing. Mark and Myrt together had 5 children, Dusty being the oldest son of the bunch. As a young child his fathers worked pipeline, so he got to travel a lot, but Oklahoma was always home. He grew up in Whitefield, Ok. Right next to the Canadian River where he spent every minute he could throughout his whole life. He went to elementary school in Whitefield, and graduated Stigler High School in 1978. He tried his hand at a few different things before he settled on being an electrician. He became a journeyman in the industrial field. He retired in 2021 at the age of 62 after 30 plus years. He was very proud to be a longstanding member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 584 – Tulsa. He was fiercely loyal to the brotherhood and made many “friends for life” during his career. His Passions were fishing, hunting, watching you-tube and more fishing. Until he had grandkids. Then his passions were whatever the grandkids wanted to do! He loved teaching each of his children how to fish and carried it on with his grandkids. Dusty is proceeded in death by 2 very loving fathers; Mack Oldham and Mark Purdom; his brother-in-law; Bob “Bullit” Clarke, and his sister Cindy Summerlin. He is survived by his wife Michelle Oldham. 3 sons and their wives; Mack and Danielle Oldham, Zeb and Joye Oldham, Zane and Emily Oldham, and one daughter; Rachel Ozment and husband Connor. 2 Stepdaughters; Tess Morrison and partner Jess Welch; Johanna Martinez and husband Mat; 7 grandchildren: Gunnur Bryant; Crew and Case Oldham; Brady Lee Ozment; Luna, Love and Atreus Martinez. His mother Myrtle Purdom; 2 sisters; Joy Clarke and Diane Eaton; His brother Markie Purdom and partner Chelsea “Cheesy” Eaton and too many cousins to count! His quick wit and easy smile will be missed by many.
